On the rare occasion you need to take a screenshot to send to us, simply follow these instructions:
- iOS on an iPhone,iPad, iPhone XR or newer
- Press and hold the 'Lock' and 'Volume up' buttons at the same time. The image will be saved with your photos.
iPhone models up to an iPhone 8
Press and hold the 'Home' and 'Power' buttons at the same time. The image will be saved with your photos.
Android phone or tablet
For most Android devices, press and hold the 'Volume down' and 'Power' buttons at the same time. The image will be saved in your gallery app. If you have Android 9 or newer, you can also long press on 'Power' and tap 'Screenshot' instead.
On Samsung devices, press and hold the 'Home' and 'Power' buttons. The image will be saved in your gallery app.
Press and hold the 'Start' and 'Power' buttons at the same time. The image will be saved in the screenshots album in the Pictures Hub.
For devices not listed, please consult your product manual.
Computer or laptop running Windows 7 or lower
Press the 'Print screen' button (Print screen/SysRq), which can found in the top right-hand corner of the keyboard. When you press this it won't seem like anything has happened, but don't worry, that's normal at this stage.
Open an image program (such as Paint) or a word processor (such as Microsoft Word) and select 'Edit' from the options at the top of the page, then 'Paste'. Alternatively, just press 'Ctrl' and 'V'. Once you've done this, you'll see a picture of your screen saved in the document. Finally, save the file to a convenient location.
Windows 8 and 10 on a computer or laptop
Press and hold the 'Windows' and 'Print screen' keys (Print screen/SysRq). On Windows 8, the image will be saved in the screenshots folder in your Photos app. On Windows 10, the image will be saved to the clipboard.
Mac OS X on a computer or laptop
Press and hold the 'Command', 'Shift' and '3' keys at the same time. A full screen image will be saved on your desktop.
