Hurling General rules Bets on abandoned or postponed matches are void unless the match is rearranged and played on the same date (local time) or stated otherwise in the rules. The exception is if we advertise an incorrect start time. Should any match be played prior to the date or start time denoted, bets will stand provided the bet is placed not later than the revised start time. If a match venue is changed, bets will be void. In two-way markets, push rules apply. Stakes on single bets are refunded and in multiple bet the selection is treated as a non-runner. Example:St Thomas vs Cushendall. The final score is St Thomas 14-20 Cushendall, meaning that when the bet is placed on the two-way handicap of St Thomas +6, 6 points are added to the actual number of points made by St Thomas. As the match is a draw after the handicap has been applied to St Thomas’ score, the bet is settled as a push and the stake is refunded. Game rules Full-time result Predict the final result of the match. Handicap Predict the outcome of the match after the handicap taken has been applied. Example: Dublin vs Galway. The final score is Dublin 4-24 Galway, meaning that when the bet is placed on the handicap of Galway -12.5, 12.5 points are subtracted from the actual number of points made by Galway. The handicap match-winning outcome is 4-11.5 in favour of Galway and the bet is a winner. Total goals Predict whether the number of goals scored in the match will be under or over a specified figure. In the event of abandonment, bets will be made void unless the result is already determined. Glossary Term Description Bet(s)/betting means each bet placed by you using your account and accepted by us via our app/website. The term ‘betting’ shall be construed accordingly. Multiple bet means where you place two or more bets simultaneously via your account. These bets may be either single bets, accumulator bets, combinations of both or a system bet. Push rules means the rules that apply where your bet result is determined as a ‘push’. A push occurs if a match or event ends right on the listed point spread or in a draw, and the respective betting option has not been offered. For example, if a football match ends 2-0, the market ‘Total score over/under 2’ is considered a push if only the options ‘over 2’ and ‘under 2’ are offered. Single bet means an individual bet placed on one outcome in accordance with the relevant sport rules. Stake means the money you use to place a bet via your account. Void means where a benefit or action of your account is made null and void by us. This includes but is not limited to when a bet is cancelled following acceptance, where winnings are cancelled following settlement, or where a reward or bonus is cancelled at any time, in all such circumstances for any valid reason as specifically set out in any game terms or the sport rules.
