Double Result Few things in racing are as nail-biting as a stewards' inquiry after your horse crosses the line first, which is where ‘Double Result’, also known as 'First Past the Post' (FPTP) comes in. If the race day stewards revise the finishing order after the race but before the official result is confirmed, we'll pay out on both the horse that was first past the post and the horse declared the official winner. That's double the chance to celebrate! How it Works:: First Past the Post: If your horse crosses the line first but is later disqualified or demoted, you still get paid as a winner! Official Winner: If your horse is promoted to first place after a stewards' inquiry, you'll also be paid out as a winner! Don’t get stuck at the starting gate While Double Result has your back, there are a few scenarios where it doesn't apply. Races outside of the UK, Ireland, and South Africa are ineligible, as are races declared void or if there is a result error by the judge or data provider before the official result is confirmed. It also won't count if the horse and jockey complete the wrong course, carry the wrong weight, or if the jockey fails to ‘weigh in’, or on certain events at our discretion. Additionally, bets placed on derived or special markets are excluded.
